RFE said it used facial recognition software on social media photographs taken in the park outside the presidency which has been occupied and fenced off by regime supporters.
It said it identified Vladimir Vucetic, a resident of Mitrovica North, one of the four majority-Serb municipalities in northern Kosovo. Vucetic is one of 45 people indicted by the Kosovo judiciary for involvement in the armed incident. According to information available to the public, Vucetic is not under indictment in Serbia.
The authorities in Pristina said that there were others on the list of indictees in the tent camp on June 28 when students staged a mass protest, demanding snap elections and the removal of the tent camp from the park.
RFE said it identified at least 11 others who were indicted for the Banjska armed incident all of them dressed in the same olive-green shirts. They were in groups standing close to the Presidency building, right next to armed police.
A number of Kosovo Albanian-language media reported the presence of 4 men charged with terrorism by the Kosovo judiciary.
