RGZ files criminal complaint against unionists, AKS and JKS heads

The Republic Geodetic Authority (RGZ), Serbia’s central real estate registry, has filed a criminal complaint with the Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime against the president of the Serbian Public Notary Chamber (JKS), president of the Serbian Bar Association (AKS), representative of the joint union organization with the RGZ, representative of the Independence Union with the RGZ and representative of the Association of Free and Independent Unions of Serbia with the RGZ.

The criminal complaint was filed on suspicion that, over a considerably long period of time, these people, acting in a coordinated manner, committed a series of criminal acts against the RGZ by obstructing the efforts of the state of Serbia to reform the real estate management system, said the RGZ.

"The aim of their activities is to jeopardize the integrity of the institution, to collapse the state real estate registry system and to obstruct the project 'Improving Land Administration in Serbia', which is being implemented with the support of the World Bank," said the RGZ.
