Ria Novosti: Serbia continues supplying munitions to Ukraine

It quoted an unnamed informed source who said munitions are coming to Ukraine from Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina through third countries. The source said that it is “indicative that no Serbian company was ever punished for illegal supplies. In his opinion, the restrictions imposed there are perceived as a formality without a threat of consequences. To bypass them, only components are sent from the country, and finished products are collected on the territory of third states.

The source said that the Serbian Zenitprom d.o.o. is planning to supply thousands of rounds of 122 mm ammunition for MLRS Grad launchers, adding that fuses and other components will be supplied by the Slovenian IZOP-K d.o.o. and the Bosnian company Binas d.d. which will be shipped to Poland for assembly.

“According to him, the Slovenian company intends to ensure the receipt of the end user certificate on behalf of the Polish Ministry of Defense,” RIA Novosti said.

The agency recalled that the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service reported that ammunition was being supplied to Ukraine despite Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic’s pledge to stop suspect shipments which did not have special permits.
