
Serbia's Statistical Office (RZS) said on Tuesday that inflation in August was 0.9 percent, while at the annual level, it was 4.3 percent.
Personal consumption products and services prices increased by an average of 4.6 percent compared to December 2020.
In August, compared to July, the prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by two percent, transport 0.9, recreation and culture by 0.8 percent, housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels and furniture, furniture and current maintenance of apartments by 0.4 and restaurants and hotels by 0.3 percent.
Alcoholic beverages and tobacco also rose in price, as did education and health care by 0.2 percent each.
Clothing and footwear were cheaper by 0.8 percent.
