The Serbian state TV (RTS) said on Monday that the Ohrid Agreement has formally become a part of Chapter 35 in Serbia’s European Union accession talks.
The RTS said that EU Foreign Minister adopted changes to Chapter 35 to include Serbia’s obligations from the agreements reached with Pristina in Brussels and Ohrid in 2023.
European Commission spokesman Peter Stano told N1 that the EU expects Belgrade and Pristina to implement the agreement all other obligations as key issues on their European path.
The state TV said it had access to an EU document which said that “Serbia should fully implement its obligations from the agreement on normalization of relations with Kosovo in line with the implementation annex”.
It said that Serbia will be informed of the changes in an official letter and added that Pristina will be informed of the changes.
