Russia calls on West to stop blaming Kosovo incidents on Serbs

“We call on the West to finally silence its false propaganda and stop blaming incidents in Kosovo on Serbs driven to despair,” said the Russian Foreign Ministry.

It stressed that “decisive steps” are needed to de-escalate tensions in Kosovo.

Some 50 Serbs and over 25 KFOR troops were injured Monday in Zvecan, northern Kosovo, in clashes between KFOR and Kosovo Serbs who had assembled to prevent newly elected Kosovo Albanian mayors from entering municipal administration buildings in Kosovo North.
