Russian Ambassador says Moscow wants strategic partnership with Belgrade

He wrote in an op-ed piece that Russia is “truly interested in a strategic partnership with a strong, sovereign Serbia …. and is convinced that that format for a relationship is fully in line with the interests of both countries and their people”.

“When we stick together they can’t just push us into a corner or take our vote away. That gains in importance in the context of growing international tensions,” he added.
