Russian Ambassador: Vucic informed me the West is behind unrest in Belgrade

“The opposition started the protests, which we supported from the outside. Vucic talked about that, I cannot disclose any details, it is confidential information. But he has undeniable information that the West is instigating the unrest in Serbia,” Botsan-Kharchenko said following his meeting with the Serbian President on Monday.

Vucic wrote in an Instagram post earlier on Monday that he briefed the Russian Ambassador on the Sunday evening’s unrest in Belgrade and reiterated that that the authorities will do everything to protect the security of the citizens and Serbia.
