The Republic Statistics Office (RZS) reported on Tuesday that the average gross salary in Serbia for January 2025 was 148,440 dinars, while the average net salary stood at 107,476 dinars (1 euro - 117 dinars).

The median net salary for January 2025 was 83,031 dinars, indicating that 50 percent of employees earned salaries up to this amount.

Compared to January of the previous year, average gross and net salaries in January 2025 increased by 12.1 percent in nominal terms and 7.2 percent in real terms.

In relation to December 2024, the average gross salaries for January 2025 remained stable in nominal terms but decreased by 0.6 percent in real terms. Meanwhile, net salaries dropped by 0.8 percent in nominal terms and by 1.4 percent in real terms.
