Serbian Armed Forces (SAF) Chief of General Staff Milan Mojsilovic said Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic presented to the members of Serbia’s Council for National Security a document, a co-called “non-paper” on Republika Srpska (RS), authored by Germany and France.

Mojsilovic said the document complicates the position of Republika Srpska and that it was shared with the Council’s extended membership.

“Guidelines have been defined, tasks have been assigned, and the extent to which Serbia will engage with this issue was determined,” Mojsilovic said briefly following the meeting of the Council for National Security.

In addition to discussing the regional security situation, the meeting also addressed developments in Kosovo.

General Mojsilovic described Pristina’s unilateral actions as “unprecedented,” stressing that they directly threaten the lives and well-being of minority communities in Kosovo, particularly the Serb population.

He added that conclusions were adopted on this issue, along with directives and guidelines for further action.
