Members of the Serbian Armed Forces (SAF) and US Armed Forces European Command completed a joint course in civil-military cooperation in the “South” base near Bujanovac, said the Serbian Defense Ministry.
During the course the participants upgraded their knowledge of the activities of civilian organizations in peace operations and underwent tactical training for work in teams and units of civil-military cooperation, said the Ministry in a press release.
The training was carried out by a mixed instructor team of the Serbian Armed Forces and US Armed Forces, and by guest lectures from the Serbian Interior Ministry Sector for Emergency Situations
"The realization of this joint training course is a continuation of successful cooperation between the Serbian Armed Forces and the US Armed Forces in the field of civil-military cooperation,” said the Ministry.
