Sales of new vehicles rise

It said that new vehicle sales rose by 29.29 percent in that period compared to the first quarter of 2023. According to the Association, a total of 7,493 new vehicles were sold in the first quarter of the year compared to 6,229 in 2023.

The Association said that a total of 5,965 passenger vehicles were sold in Q1, a rise of 19 percent.

It said that the sales of light commercial vehicles rose by 25 percent from 1,219 in the first quarter of 2023 to 1,528 in the same period of 2024.
