Savo Manojlovic: Constitutional Court to revoke Government's decree on abolition of Jadar spatial plan

"On July 11, the Constitutional Court scheduled a session at which it will adopt the Rio Tinto initiative and cancel the Decision on the cancellation of the Jadar spatial plan, which will return things to the state before the blockades," Manojlovic announced.

"The Constitutional Court makes its decision secretly, without a public discussion, at a session in the middle of summer so that it passes without a public revolt. The government (PM Ana Brnabic) deliberately incorrectly cancelled the Spatial Plan Jadar in order to enable Rio Tinto to play a double game with the Constitutional Court, which we announced on January 22, 2022," Manojlović pointed out.

Manojlovic recalled that for the second year in a row, the Constitutional Court did not decide on the constitutional appeal of Kreni-Promeni because the National Assembly did not put the people's initiative on banning the exploitation of boron and lithium to a vote.
