The EU plans to sign a memorandum on "Critical raw materials" with the Government of Serbia, soon, in which lithium is mentioned, said Savo Manojlovic, campaign director of the Kreni-promeni movement.

„The EU is definitely giving up on democracy in Serbia. She doesn’t care about stolen elections, the only thing she cares about is lithium. We are not giving up on democracy in Serbia and we will fight for it ourselves,“ Manojlovic said on X social network.

He stressed that lithium will not be mined in Serbia, and invited citizens to join the protest organized by Kreni-promeni in front of the RTS building on Takovska Street.

Manojlovic previously stated that RTS conducts „brutal propaganda“ with 1,000 affirmative announcements about lithium mining and about 800 from the company Rio Tinto, in just over a month, thus violating the Law on Public Information.
