SBB, Sport Klub organize Euroleague humanitarian project

Money has been donated to 10 humanitarian organizations, associations and institutions in the month since the start of the SBB Player of the Match in Euroleague humanitarian project, a press release said on Friday. Pročitaj više

It said that the SBB cable services provider and Sport Klub TV launched the humanitarian project. A jury of Sport Klub journalists choose the best player after every match between Red Star and Partizan basketball clubs. The SBB player of the match then donates 120,000 Dinars (1 Euro – 117 Dinars) to the organization of his choice.

The list of players who made donations includes Joel Bolomboy, Nemanja Nedović, Vanja Marinković, Michael Daum, Karlik Jones, Nikola Kalinic, Sterling Brown, Ife Lundberg, Jagos Dos Santos and Tyreek Jones who sent their awards to organizations such as the Child Protection Center, the Center for the Protection of Infants, Children and of youth, the Association for Cerebral and Infantile Paralysis of Serbia, the humanitarian association Decje Srce, the association of parents of children with autism Svoj Svet, the Association of single parents and families of children with disabilities Blue Shell, Roditelj Association, Live Upright Center, Center for the Improvement of Society and Debra Association.

The next two players to donate their awards are Filip Petrushev and Karlik Jones. The next top player will be chosen at the Red Star-Monaco game on November 12.

A total of 72,000 Euro will be donated by the end of the current, 25th season of the Euroleague.
