Schieder, MEP: Vucic’s attacks against me, my party unacceptable
Head of the Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament (EP) Andreas Schieder, who was a member of the international observation mission at the Serbian December 17 elections, wrote on the X social network that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic’s attacks against him and his party are unacceptable.
“Serbian President Vucic’s attacks against me and my party are unacceptable. They also expose his laughable lack of understanding of Austrian politics,” wrote Schieder.
He reiterated that he “signed nothing and never said the elections were irregularity-free.”
“So stop this disinformation campaign. Following last night's events, both sides should now calm down and sit together to discuss how to solve the crisis,” Schieder posted on X.
