Security Agency summons student for “friendly conversation”

A source said that the student was instructed to report to a Belgrade police station with his parents for a “friendly conversation” about the university protests.

According to what N1 has learned to date, this is the first case of the Security Information Agency (BIA) issuing a summons to any student taking part in the blockade of University schools which started in the wake of the November 1 tragedy at Novi Sad Railway Station. The students are demanding accountability for the collapse of a canopy roof at the station which claimed 15 lives and for assaults on them during their protest, the release of all documents on the reconstruction of the station and more funding for state universities.
