A group of children from the Serb-dominated Gracanica in northern Kosovo wanted to come to Belgrade and congratulate President Aleksandar Vucic’s birthday and the head of Serbia’s Government Office for Kosovo Petar Petkovic fulfilled their wish on Friday.
He first took children to see the controversial monument to a Medieval Serb ruler Stefan Nemanja and the Belgrade Waterfront, a business-apartment complex, which also caused public controversy.
Popovic informed the children about Nemanja’s historical significance and with the BW project.
After that, the children saw Vucic and congratulated him on today’s birthday with a song and cake.
