Marinika Tepic, who represents the coalition Serbia against violence, which on Saturday signed the proposal of ProGlas for ensuring fair and honest elections, told N1 that the priority is the improvement of electoral conditions. “We are fighting for elections, we are not fighting for a boycott," she stressed.

Director Srdan Golubovic, one of the initiators of ProGlas, said that the obvious election theft committed by the government in the elections on December 17, 2023, speaks of the weakness of this government and shows that it can win only through fraud.

He noted that the ODIHR's recommendations are very simple, the formation of a working group in which there will be representatives of both the ruling party and the opposition and civil society, which will review the voter list and check it until election day.

Tepic agreed and pointed out that April 28 is not an unacceptable date, adding that the legal deadline for holding the Belgrade elections is June 2.

Golubovic said that for ProGlas it does not matter who wins the elections, but that what is important is that those who win do so in “fair and honest elections”.

"The task of ProGlas is to motivate people, to draw attention to what election theft means and that it is unacceptable, and that without normal election conditions there are no free and fair elections," said Golubovic.
