Serbia and Turkey signed 11 memoranda and protocols on mutual cooperation in various areas, in the presence of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the Palace of Serbia on Friday.
These include a Memorandum of Understanding on emergency and disaster management, and a Memorandum of Understanding in the areas of labor, employment and social security.
The Serbian Ministry of Economy and the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology signed a Memorandum of Understanding, while the Serbian Ministry of Mining and Energy signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the area of energy transition with the Turkish Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources.
A decision was signed amending the Free Trade Agreement between Serbia and Turkey.
Also signed were a Memorandum of Understanding the field of sports, youth, media and information, protocols on cooperation between Belgrade and Gaziantep and on cooperation between the state archives of Serbia and Turkey, and the Directorate of State Archives of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey, as well as an Academic Memorandum of Understanding between the Institute of History Belgrade and the Ataturk Supreme Council for Culture, Language and History of the Turkish Historical Society.
