„I think that on Friday we will have a meeting of the Government where we will adopt the proposal to amend the law. We have invited the President of the State, Aleksandar Vucic, as Commander-in-Chief, to attend, because the topic is within his constitutional jurisdiction,“ Vucevic told TV Pink.
He confirmed that the military service will last 75 days, „which does not disturb life, schooling, studying, work, moms and dads will be fundamentally grateful because the army will prepare their sons even better for life so that they continue to grow as men“.
Serbia professionalized its Army in 2011 when the mandatory military service was abolished.
