Serbia women's basketball team loses bronze Olympic medal to France

Although both teams were even in the first half, the Serbian players showed poor performance in the third quarter.

Serbia then made a series of 12 consecutive points in the fourth quarter and got near the French with only seven points difference but the opponent managed to turn the game in their favour by the end.

Serbia has so far won seven Olympic medals in Tokyo – two gold, one silver, and four bronze.

On the last day of the Olympic Games, the Serbian water polo team will fight Greece for the gold medal, and the women's basketball team will compete with South Korea for the bronze medal.
