A number of Serbian citizens evacuated from Ukraine even before the embassy's recommendation was issued, said Serbian Ambassador to Kyiv Aca Jovanovic adding that they are in contact with the citizens of Serbia who are currently trying to leave that country. Pročitaj više

Serbian Ambassador Aca Jovanovic said that warning measures are in force at the moment.

„Detonations are heard, which means that there are activities,“ Jovanovic told RTS.

As for our citizens, those who did not leave Ukraine after the recommendation to do so was published, as Jovanovic says, some left yesterday, and some the day earlier.

„Considering that the roads are congested, that there are checkpoints on the roads to the west, because a state of war has been introduced, and thus the obligation to mobilize all adult citizens of Ukraine aged 18 to 60, there is a congestion and constant controls,“ stated Jovanovic.

He pointed out that he is in contact with all the citizens.

„I follow the movement of those citizens who called. They call me occasionally so I know how far they have come so that we have information when they leave the country,“ Jovanovic added.
