Serbian central bank, IMF mission in talks on arrangement

A National Bank of Serbia (NBS) delegation opened talks with an International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission in Belgrade on Thursday to review the current stand-by arrangement.

An NBS press release said that the delegations are headed by NBS Governor Jorgovanka Tabakovic and IMF mission chief Donal McGettigan, adding that Finance Minister Sinisa Mali was in the Serbian delegation.

“This is the third review under the Stand-By Arrangement approved by the IMF on 19 December 2022,” it said. It added that the talks will focus on the latest macroeconomic developments, economic outlook and risks, and key issues related to program implementation.
