
Serbian and Croatian business people called their respective governments to speed up the flow of goods across the border, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (PKS) said on Monday.
The presidents of the PKS and Croatian Chamber of Commerce (HGK), Marko Cadez and Luka Burilovic agreed at a meeting in Zagreb to ask their governments to speed up procedures to reduce the losses inflicted by long waits and complicated procedures at border crossings.
The press release said that PKS and HGK experts will analyze the problem to facilitate trade, especially in the context of the Ukraine crisis.
Cadez and Burilovic discussed energy industry cooperation and the need to diversify energy sources.
The press release said that trade between Serbia and Croatia totaled 1.337 billion Euro in 2021, 25 percent higher than a year earlier.
