Serbian FM: ODIHR is irreplaceable partner

“Dacic pointed out that Serbia sees the ODIHR as one of the pillars of the OSCE and an irreplaceable partner in the field of the third (human) dimension of this organization and the building of a democratic society,” a Foreign Ministry press release said.

It added that Dacic and Meccacci agreed that Serbia-ODIHR cooperation “took place in a friendly and partnership manner with mutual trust, with the aim of improving the electoral process, strengthening democratic institutions and implementing reforms in areas that are a priority for Serbia”.

Dacic said that Serbia is investing effort to improve its electoral process in line with ODIHR recommendations and that he expects further cooperation on other issues.
