Serbian FM says he will visit Russia this year

He told the pro-regime Happy TV that he has to go to Russia because he co-chairs the two countries’ Mixed Cooperation Committee, adding that a date will be agreed with Moscow. Dacic said that his predecessor Nikola Selakovic did not visit Moscow for a meeting of that committee because of elections.

The Foreign Minister said Serbia takes foreign policy decisions every days and carefully considers them to prevent the loss of old friends and win new friends “or at least not get new enemies”.

Dacic also said that Serbia will join ASEAN next week.
