Serbian Foreign Minister Nikola Selakovic told the state TV (RTS) that President Aleksandar Vucic could meet with US President Joe Biden by the end of the year.
“I am convinced that President Vucic will have a bilateral meeting with President Biden by the end of the year thanks to the strong and serious contacts that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has achieved in previous years,” Selakovic said.
The Foreign Minister said that the fact that Serbia’s Ambassador to the US Marko Djuric attended Biden’s inauguration is a good sign for Serbia. “Our representative Ambassador Marko Djuric who is accredited in Washington was one of the 1,000 people who attended the inauguration. So, along with the many members of the House of Representatives, Congress, senators, friends, the Ambassador of Serbia was present and I think that is important for us, that this was an important message for us in Serbia,” he said.
