Serbian Foreign Ministry publishes Lavrov letter to Dacic

The message in the original Russian and Serbian translation was published on the ministry portal.

According to Lavrov, Russia-Serbia relations “once again passed the test of resilience despite difficult international circumstances”. Lavrov expressed a high appreciation of Dacic’s “personal contribution to strengthening the Russia-Serbia partnership and promoting cooperation”.

“We are prepared to maintain the high dynamics of cooperation between the foreign affairs departments of our two countries, close coordination of steps in the world arena and we will continue to provide brotherly support to Belgrade in the defense of its legitimate national interests in line with the norms of international law,” Lavrov said in the December 30 message. He added that Moscow is always open to contacts with our Serbian friends and added in his own handwriting: “even though I understand that you are very busy now”.

He also wished Dacic well for his birthday (January 1).
