Serbian Government adopts 2025 budget bill

The Serbian Government on Thursday adopted the 2025 Budget Bill, said the Serbian Government in a press release.

Under the bill, planned budget revenues and receipts total 2,346.2 billion dinars (1 euro – 117 dinars), or 8 percent more than the amount envisaged under the 2024 budget revision.

Tax revenues are planned in the amount of 1,985.1 billion dinars (up by 6.5 percent or by 120.3 billion dinars), with planned non-tax revenues totaling 325.7 billion dinars, which is an 18.4 percent increase.

The budget bill forecasts total expenses and expenditures in the amount of 2,660.2 billion dinars, with a fiscal deficit of 3 percent of GDP, the Government said.

Under a Ministry of Finance estimate, the projected 2025 economic growth rate is 4.2 percent.

The general government debt in 2025 is projected at 47.5 percent of GDP.

Capital investments are set at 762.9 billion dinars, or 7.4 percent of GDP.
