Serbian Government adopts Environmental Protection Strategy through 2033

Environmental Protection Minister Sara Pavkov hailed the strategy as a milestone for the country. She noted that it defines a clear path for the green transition, pollution reduction, and the protection of natural resources, while aligning Serbia with the highest European standards.

“The 2033 Environmental Protection Strategy provides the foundation for systemic, long-term environmental action. Our goal is to ensure that Serbia’s economic growth is built on sustainability and resource preservation. This is also a significant step forward in our EU integration process,” Pavkov said.
