Serbian government bans fuel exports

It added that the ban will remain in place up to March 19.

It quoted Energy Minister Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic who said the exports of diesel, gasoline and crude are banned on all forms of transport. She said the ban is in place to protect the domestic market from shortages and price hikes due to the global upsets on the international market.

Djedovic Handanovic said that drivers in Serbia are paying below real market prices for fuel, adding that the government is doing everything to protect the public and the economy.
