Serbian Government notifies Serbian embassies in EU: Student demands met, spread the word

The Serbian Government acknowledges that the students’ demands are justified, well-founded, and important, reads a document sent by the Serbian Parliament to all Serbian embassies in European Union member states for broad distribution to relevant institutions and parliaments. Serbian students launched protests and defined four demands made to the authorities following the November tragic collapse of a concrete canopy at the train station in Novi Sad, which claimed 15 lives and left two people seriously injured. The protests were also sparked by physical assaults on Faculty of Dramatic Arts (FDU) students during a 15-minute silent protest outside this institution in Belgrade on November 22, 2024.
