It said that duties on unleaded gasoline now stand at .55 Euro a liter up from .49 Euro a day earlier. Duties on diesel fuel were raised from .50 Euro to .57 Euro and leaded gasoline from .51 Euro to .58 Euro.

The government lowered duties on fuel in mid-May to ease the fallout from the rise of crude prices caused by the US-Iran conflict. The duties were lowered to a level 20 percent under what the law allows.
