Serbian Health Ministry denies N1 permit to report on vaccination

An N1 reporter contacted the municipal health care center in the Vozdovac municipality where the mall is located and was told that permission has to come from the ministry. Two requests were sent by e-mail to the Health Ministry after a ministry press office staff member told N1 that this was the right procedure.

The Stadion shopping mall mangement gave permission for N1 to video as did the Vozdovac Health Care center and was given contacts with doctors but the Health ministry failed to respond to the requests and the crew could not report live from the vaccination post.

N1 TV has reported from all vaccination posts in Belgrade’s shopping malls and has never had to request permission from the ministry.

N1 is demanding an explanation from the Health Ministry whether and why it is implementing the new practice for reporting from vaccination posts and why that right has been denied the N1 crew.
