Serbian junior football players, parents assaulted in Sarajevo

The players and their parents are in the Bosnia-Herzegovina capital to take part in a tournament for juniors aged 8 to 15. N1 reporters in Sarajevo said that the police arrested 3 of about a dozen hooligans who targeted the group from Serbia, attacking them with knives, pepper spray and torches. One of the fathers was stabbed in the back and the leg.

The attack took place outside the hotel the players and parents were staying in.

Police deployed around the hotel following the assault.

One of the parents said they did not have a police escort. He said that they had a group of security guards.
