Serbian military training for parade on the ground and in the air
Serbian military aircraft made a number of flights over Belgrade on Tuesday as part of preparations for a parade on September 20, the Defense Ministry said.
The press release said that the military units set to take part in the Power of Unity military parade completed the first part of their joint training and are starting deployment in New Belgrade at the Palace of Serbia where the parade will take place. The units taking part in the parade are training at the military airfields at Batajnica outside Belgrade and Kovin while ground forces are training at the Military Academy complex in the Banjica neighborhood of Belgrade.
It said that the public will see the Serbian Armed Forces’ latest equipment and capacities.
The parade is part of the celebrations for the Day of Serb Unity, Freedom and National Flag on September 15.
