Serbian official says number of COVID patients could reach 3,000 a day

Ministry State Secretary Mirsad Djerlek said that the health care system is ready to deal with that number or even more, adding that the data shows that the situation is getting increasingly serious with rising numbers of COVID patients.

“The health care system will try to deal with two serious issues – the delta strain which is extremelly harsh and providing non-COVID patients with the care they need. Djerlek said that more people need to get vaccinated.
