Politika said that Bojan Hrvatin and Nikola Spasojevic, both members of the organized crime group headed by Veljko Belivuk and Marko Miljkovic, signed an agreement to testify with the Organized Crime Prosecution. They will serve 15 and 14 years in prison respectively.

The Belivuk group was indicted on a number of charges including murder and drug trafficking. The group’s leaders were reported to have had close ties to top state officials allegedly even meeting with President Aleksandar Vucic. They are also alleged to have links to drug trafficking organizations from Montenegro.

Hrvatin and Spasojevic will testify after the defense makes its case. The testimony agreement has to be confirmed by the judges before the first pre-trial hearing on March 8.
