Serbian Orthodox Church desecrated in Brdjani, Croatia

"On July 2, the criminal act of burglary and damage was committed at the temple of St. George in Brdjani, Sunja municipality, in the Petrinja parish," the Church stated.

According to eyewitnesses, several unknown men were observed in the afternoon hours in the temple courtyard, who broke into the temple, damaged the furniture and desecrated religious objects.

After the criminal complaint was filed, one of the perpetrators was found and taken to the police station for further questioning, while the search for the others was underway.
