Serbian Parliament adopts changes to Law on Unified Electoral Roll

There were 153 votes in favor, eight against, and no abstentions. Five MPs did not vote.

Opposition MP and Green-Left Front co-president Biljana Djordjevic earlier told N1 that the amendments were agreed on by MP caucuses and tabled in the Parliament in an emergency procedure so as to ensure that the changes can apply to the June 2 elections.

Also on the agenda of the Friday sitting were the Proposal of the Decision on the Election of Members and Deputy Members of the Serbian Parliament Committees, Proposal of the Decision amending the Decision on the Composition of the Stabilization and Association Parliamentary Committee, Proposal of the Decision amending the Decision on the Composition of the Serbian Parliament’s Standing Delegations to International Parliamentary Institutions.
