Serbian PM calls for analysis of university education system

He told his first meeting with a Commission charged with assessing the university-level education system that concrete measures also need to be proposed to help improve the situation and modernize the system. The commission was set up last week.

Macut said the commission needs to conduct a comprehensive analysis of enrollment policy and the implementation of study programs over the past 5 years at all levels of university studies. It will also analyze the 2023/24 school year with focus on indicators that could show the need to improve the system, he added.

The Prime Minister said that the analysis will be an important step towards raising university-level education standards and aligning with the needs of the economy and society. He pledged the full support of his government.
