Serbian Prime Minister Ana Branbic’s meeting with MEPs Vladimir Bilcik and Matjaz Nemec has been postponed, a press release said on Thursday evening.

The press release did not say why the meeting was postponed. N1 was told by sources in the government that the delay was due to technical issues.

An earlier press release from the Serbian Parliament said that Bilcik and Nemec are in Belgrade to meet with parliamentary officials to discuss cooperation with the European Parliament. They are also scheduled to meet with President Aleksandar Vucic.

The European Union Delegation in Belgrade said that their visit will “focus on the continuation of the cooperation with the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in the area of dialogue facilitation and consensus building”.

Bilcik is the European Parliament’s Standing Rapporteur for Serbia and Nemec is a member of the Delegation to the EU-Serbia Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee.
