Serbian Prime Minister Milos Vucevic said on Friday that the measures that Belgrade will introduce are intended to maintain the peace and protect the Kosovo Serbs.

President Aleksandar Vucic said earlier this week that he would disclose measures to be taken over the latest events in Kosovo since the police took control of Serbian institutions in the majority-Serb municipalities in the north.
Vucevic accused his Kosovo counterpart Albin Kurti of attempting to ethnically cleanse the Serbs. “I am certain that Kurti won’t stop his political agenda, since he is in an election campaign. He can’t talk about the economy, progress, only about the Serbs,” he said and added that he does not think the international community is prepared to react sharply to Kurti’s activities.
He told the Serbian state TV (RTS) that the fundamental achievements in the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue have been made meaningless by the Kurti government.
