Internal Affairs Minister Aleksandar Vulin said on Tuesday that Serbia will get three Super Puma firefighting helicopters very soon.

A ministry press release said that Vulin was in Marseille to visit members of Serbian police helicopter unit training to fly Super Pumas. It quoted him as saying that the Serbian police has “the most powerful helicopter fleet in the Balkans”.

According to Vulin, the new helicopters will be used to fight fires and “in defense of the country if needed”.
