Serbian power company owed billions

The records show that 6 companies owe more than a billion Dinars (1 Euro – 117 Dinars) each as of April 25, 2025. They include the Zelezara Smederevo steel works which owes 6.3 billion for power, The Infrastruktura Zeleznice railway company with 3.3 billion, Energetika Kragujevac (central heating provider) 2.33 billion, Resavice coal mine 2.29 billion, Politika AD newspaper publisher 1.41 billion and Belgrade Infostan communal services company which owes 1.41 billion.

Other EPS debtors include the Belgrade water and sewers company which owes 718 million Dinars, JPKP Lazarevac 543 million, Belgrade power and central heating company 333 million, the Partizan Waterpolo club 300 million and the city of Novi Pazar with 300 million Dinars as well as Zastava Firearms which owes 281 million Dinars.
