Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic called for spiritual unity among the Serbs on Friday.

Speaking at a Christmas reception for Serb children from Slovenia, Vucic said that “at these not easy time for mankind and for Europe … he would pray for peace and the survival of our people” and called “all Serbdom to spiritual unity”. “We will do our best so that our children in Kosovo and Metohija have peace,” he said.

He said that it’s important for Serb children living outside Serbia to “save their language and Serbian Cyrillic script” and added that it’s “unbelievable how many people defend the colors of Slovenia but love Serbia and the Serb people”. “We have a lot of people outside the borders of our country … and this is becoming a big an important job for all of us”.
