President Aleksandar Vucic told Slovak Foreign Minister Ivan Korcok that Serbia is committed to maintaining the stability of the Western Balkans.
A press release quoted him as telling Korcok that official Belgrade will continue its policy of peace and cooperation in the region. It said that Vucic also informed Korcok about the situation in the region and welcomed the engagement of Slovak diplomat Miroslav Lajcak as the European Union special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue.
The press release said that they discussed bilateral cooperation between Serbia and Slovakia with Vucic saying that their political dialogue, economic and all other forms of cooperation are in their common interest.
Korcok met earlier with European Integration Minister Jadranka Joksimovic to hand her documents on a 97,000 Euro donation in medical equipment to help combat the pandemic.
