The Serbian State Audit Institution (DRI) presented its digital budget fund review system which is part of the UNDP project to introduce a platform to manage public finances.

The system will make the DRI the first state body to digitalize all of its procedures, DRI President Dusko Pejovic told a news conference, adding that the project will reinforce mechanisms to control state fund spending. “The goal of the new system is top upgrade the quality of the reviews and speed them up,” he said. Pejovic added that system users will be given a trial period to get to know the system.

According to Pejovic, the system will make planning reviews easier. “We will have a data base for all reviews, irregularities, recommendations and reports. The system introduces a single form for state auditors,” he said.
