Auditors said that in one case the ministry did not provide specifications for equipment bought in public procurement procedure but added that the procurement plans were in line with financial plans for 2020.

The DRI recommended that the ministry follow all specification requirements in public procurement procedures and publish notices on the public procurement portal.

The DRI said that the Health Ministry paid the Republic Health Insurance Fund 7.84 billion Dinars to cover the salaries of health care staff hired during the state of emergency as well as transport and laboratory expenses.
